This fun and inspiring course teaches students to truly see the world around them—and sketch it with confidence! Starting with simple pencil mark-making, kids will explore shape, texture, and value through quick 10–15 minute drawings. They’ll learn by seeing the sketches of artists through the centuries that drawing isn’t about perfection—it’s about expression. Unlike photos, which often miss the true colors and feeling of a moment, sketching helps students connect more deeply with what they see. Each sketch becomes a personal memory—capturing not just how something looks, but how it felt to observe it. With a focus on mindfulness and creativity, sketching becomes a calming, joyful experience. ✨ Bonus: In the final two sessions, kids will be introduced to watercolor and learn how to draw and paint nature around them. Perfect for young artists (in age and of heart) of all levels!
